The suspect became unruly and when other grade 12 pupils who were also in the dormitory tried to advise him, he produced a hard laundry hanging wire which he had sharpened and made into some form of a screw driver from his pocket,” he said.

Mr Mweemba said when the pupils saw the weapon they all scampered out of the dorm ,but the suspect managed to stab the victim twice on the left side of the chest causing him to sustain 2 deep stab wounds.

“The suspect also stabbed another pupil within the same dormitory who failed to run on the left palm using the same instrument causing him to sustain a deep stab wound on the left palm,” he said.
