UPND councilor for Chikobo Ward in Chibombo Reagan Mubatsa has been nabbed for unruly behavior.
Mubatsa was apprehended after he attempted to enter at the Magistrate Court complex without clearance.
There is tight security at the court complex where National Democratic Congress party president Chishimba Kambwili is expected to appear for his bail hearing.
Kambwili’s daughter Chanda is also expected to appear today for assaulting a police officer.
The police are screening people before accessing the court and the majority are being sent back.
The police have indicated that they will not allow Kambwili’s relatives and sympathisers.
However, Mubatsa became unruly before police officers could clear him.
He was savagely lifted him and threw him in a police van while hard slaps landed on him.
After several minutes, he was ordered to get on another police vehicle and he has been taken to Kabwata Police Station.

President Edgar Lungu receives credentials of three new ambassadors to Zambia
PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu has called on Diplomats accredited to Zambia to dedicate their time and energy to exploring and discovering more areas of mutual economic interest and cooperation.
Speaking when he received letter of credence from the Ambassadors accredited to Zambia, at State House yesterday, President Lungu assured the diplomats that this government is keen to develop new areas of cooperation with other countries in various sectors of mutual interest.
“I wish to heartily congratulate your Excellencies, on your appointments as Ambassadors accredited to Zambia. Allow me to accept your letters of credence,” President Lungu said.
“Your excellencies, although the world economy is still grappling with the negative effects of the covid-19 pandemic, my government is keen to develop new areas of cooperation with your respective countries in various sectors of mutual interest.”
President Lungu also assured the diplomats of his government’s support and cooperation as they carry out their duties in Zambia.
The Diplomats who presented their letters of Credence to President Lungu were: Mr. Ali Abdullah Salim Al Mahruqi, Ambassador designate of the Sultanate of Oman Mrs. Charity Charamba, Ambassador designate of the Republic of Zimbabwe Mr Francois Goldbiatt, Ambassador designate of the Republic of France.
