PATRIOTIC Front (PF) Secretary General Davis Mwila says the UPND is shrinking and its life president Hakainde Hichilema has long lost meaningfulness to Zambia’s democratic space.
And Mwila says the retention of the PF’s winning of Lukashya and Mwansabombwe parliamentary by elections is as a result of President Edgar Lungu’s all embracing leadership of leaving no one behind.
In a statement today, Mwila said what is supposed to be Zambia’s main opposition has been shackled by greed of a serially rejected tribal tyrant who has manipulated his party constitution to prolong his stay as opposition leader.
He said the UPND is suffering diminishing returns as they continue losing most of their strongholds because their leader is busy scooping all social media seats and all insulting seats.
He added that the UPND is in a huge leadership crisis and will continue diminishing as their leader is a gonga.
Meanwhile, Mwila said the people of Lukashya, Mwansabombwe and Copperbelt have spoken by rejecting the opposition in the just ended by-elections.
