AZE 1 to celebrate 32nd birthday in style

MOST promising young Zambian Entrepreneur, Azele Phiri, also known as Aze 1 will be a year older tomorrow.

The businessman will turn 32 and is expected to hold a mega birthday bash to celebrate this milestone. The lavish 32nd birthday party will be attended by close friends and several local celebrities.

Aze 1 is expected to use his birthday to extend his gratitude and show appreciation to all those who have stood with in the past year.

Aze 1, is one of Zambia’s wealthiest people are under 35 years old. Aze 1 started small from a very young age. After working for Konkola Copper Mine (KCM) in Chililabombwe, Aze 1 left KCM and become a mine supplier to the mining firm.

Aze 1 owns a fleet luxury automobiles, has invested heavily in the property market in Lusaka and the Copperbelt and he has a clean slate with the law.

Zambian truck driver burns to death 2 days after celebrating birthday

A ZAMBIAN truck driver has been burnt to death after a fuel truck he was driving caught fire, reports have indicated.

Simon Mulonga, an employee of Juba Transport is said to have died in Zimbabwe where the accident happened.

He celebrated his birthday on Saturday.

It is not immediately clear what caused the fire.

Mulonga was married to journalist Chikumbi Katebe.

ZAMBIAN Fashion Designer Juliet Mayida Jacobs of Interfashional Africa has been nominated for three (3) awards at this year’s Designers Award Africa.
(i) African Fashion Brand of the Year
(ii) African Female Designer of the Year
(iii) African Fashion Stylist of the Year Female.

Juliet Mayida Jacobs is former runway model, international pageant judge, Last year’s Zambia fashion week challenge winner and she recently showcased at this year’s Lusaka July in September.

RTSA calls for safety of pupils as Schools open on Monday

THE Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) has urged parents and guardians to ensure that pupils use appropriate monds of transport as Schools open on Monday.

In a statement, RTSA Head of Public Relations Fredrick Mubanga also cautioned against the use of unsafe vehicles such as open vans and tracks to transport children to schools.

He said the increase in the number of vehicles on the road during this period poses a great risk to all road users if traffic rules and regulations are not adhered to.

And Mubanga has appealed to all Public Service Vehicle (PSV) drivers to observe appropriate speed limits.

He further implored PSV drivers to observe public health guidelines to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 among the travelling public.
