Binastore launches a K 700,000 “Birthday Binanza” promotional campaign

BINASTORE has launched a promotional campaign worth 700.000 ZMK targeted at Individual Home builders that are building their dream homes.

Speaking at the launch held at one of the Binastore in Chalala today, Lafarge Zambia Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Vincent Bouckaert stated that the Campaign was meant to support Individual home builders by providing technical and product advice to customers in retail and building materials in the construction industry in Zambia.

The Promotional Campaign tagged “Birthday Binanza” will run from June 22nd to 22nd August, 2018 and will see customers winning various prizes with the Grand winner walking away with a trip for two to Dubai.

“I must mention also that while in Dubai, the winner shall be accommodated at the four star Sheraton Hotel in downtown Dubai and will be treated to having a full day private city tour of the Burj Khalifa and other fun activities. In addition to the grand prize – customers will also stand a chance to win instant prizes in all the participating outlets.” Mr Bouckaert said.

He explained that customers will only be required to spend 300ZMK on cement and other building materials and will be given a scratch card, which if all three icons on the scratch card are the same, they will win that represented icon as an instant prize.

Mr. Bouckaert disclosed that the Binastore initiative launched last year in June has provided a one stop shop concept to its clients making it the best in retail and building materials in the construction industry in Zambia. “We want to celebrate this birthday by thanking our customers for being loyal to us and helping us grow from one store to more than 41 stores in one year” Mr. Bouckaert said.

He also expressed gratitude to partners such as Lamasat and all the participating outlets whose commitment, he described as indisputable. Mr Bouckaert has since called upon the Binastore owners to ensure the campaign was a success, emphasizing on them being professional in executing their customer skills as they serve the customers

Zamtel named Most Improved and Innovative Enterprise

ZAMTEL has been named “The Most Improved Enterprise” and the “Most Innovative Enterprise” by the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC).

The awards were presented to Zamtel Board Chairman Mr. Danny Luswili and Chief Executive Officer Mr Sydney Mupeta at the IDC Awards Gala held in Livingstone over the weekend by the Minister of Finance Hon. Bwalya Ng’andu.

In announcing the awards, IDC Chief Executive Officer Mr. Mateyo Kaluba attributed the win to Zamtel’s determination and success in rebuilding its business and its focus in driving innovation.

The award for the “Most Innovative Enterprise” was given to Zamtel for its Velocity home internet product which has transformed the internet experience in Zambia.

Commenting on the awards, Mr Mupeta thanked Zamtel staff for their contribution in the transformation that is taking place across the business.
