Kampamba Appointed Nkana Assistant Coach

EX-Zambia and Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Gift Kampamba has joined Nkana as assistant coach. Nkana club secretary Ken Mwansa told MTNFootball.com that the club was delighted to have Kampamba as part of the record 11-time champions’ bench.
“We have appointed Gift Kampamba as second assistant coach,” Mwansa said. “He starts work on Monday (July 16) and we believe he will bring some depth and experience to the team. In short, his appointment is long overdue.”
Kampamba is revered figured at Nkana where he started his playing career from the junior ranks and rose to fame winning two league crowns in 1999 and 2001 plus seven cup titles.
He will join his former Nkana teammate Zed Saileti on the bench who is first assistant to head coach Linos Makwaza.
Kampamba was forced to retire from football four years ago due to injury and retreated to Kitwe where is runs a business.
